Industry 4.0 and its business analysis in El Salvador

Abstract

Industry 4.0 is a product of years of technological development. It's a relatively new concept, already implemented in many companies worldwide, that combines the best contributions of new technologies (IT) with operational aspects specific to each industrial sector, resulting in a significant improvement in overall company productivity. The purpose of this study is to explore and describe the advantages offered by Industry 4.0 and its application in the Salvadoran business environment.
