This article presents the methodologies applied on the educational model in competences and its application to create the Technician in Touristic Management and Development, at MEGATEC, Cabañas. Also, the components and application levels and procedures used in the educational practices in teachers during the teaching-learning process were determined. It presents the record, analysis and interpretation of the current situation; information gathered through interviews, surveys, direct observation and the research checklists used in the classes taught by the teachers who were evaluated. The gathered results from the research are framed on the domain level of the methodological structures, the experience of their application, and also the knowledge on how the teachers work and their assertiveness and vision to continue training themselves in the model of learning in teaching.
