Abstract

Precautionary measures aim to provisionally and preventively protect the right being pursued, preventing serious or irreparable harm to the parties while the proceedings are underway. Therefore, these individuals petition the competent courts to issue the corresponding measures. This study determined the effectiveness of applying precautionary measures in child support cases, as this is a real-world issue where the security and well-being of the family unit is vital for the betterment of society.

This article aims to clearly and precisely demonstrate the effectiveness of precautionary measures in child support cases for minors. These measures, by their very nature, are effective, but due to various circumstances, their effectiveness is diminished in practice. These situations were corroborated through instruments developed and administered to experts in the field, whose results reflected their limited applicability. However, they were indeed used in a small number of cases where these measures were requested; the most frequently adopted were the preliminary injunction against the lawsuit, immigration restrictions, and provisional alimony.
