Abstract

In recent years, the popularization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) has led to a complete revolution in the society and the different human activities. This research outlines how the ICT’s have entered and change the journalism practice in El Salvador.  This profession, as traditionally practiced, suffered a structural adaptation, due to the implementation of ICT’s. However, the essential elements are still maintained in order to ensure its perpetuation both within the media market and the communicative memory of the Salvadoran Population.
