Educational planning system implemented by teachers of the first and second cycle in the Municipality of Santa Ana

Abstract

The research presents an analysis of the reality of the didactics planning implemented by the teachers of ba sic education in the schools in Santa Ana. It was de veloped through the administration of interviews to principals and teachers. It is shown how the majority of the teachers feel prepa red referring to planning, but not at all; they state that it is not completely given at all, and they require to be updating themselves. The majority of the teachers and principals agree that the planning being done is appro priate, but there is much to improve. There are weak nesses in the Pedagogical Technical Assistance system applied by the principals in the classrooms; they were not able to develop it in a more effective way because they are immersed into administrative tasks; despite this fact, it is necessary to say that some teachers con sider that the principals visit their classrooms and give them suggestions.
