Abstract

The usage of new methodologies that facilitate the teaching-learning process is an important part of the educational task in all the levels. Nowadays, the formation and competences and the B-Learning are methodologies that some authors like Arranz & Aguado, Giraldo Hoyos, among others, have proved to be integrated, generating a fast acceptance from the students because of the models and positive aca demic results.

At Universidad Católica de El Salvado Regional Cen ter at Ilobasco, it is implemented the methodology to teach base on competencies in the technical careers in Management and Touristic Development and Techni cal in Food Preservation and Procession Specialty in Dairy and Meat. Also, it is available the Moodle plat form to create virtual classrooms and because of this it was determined if the usage of such classrooms belon ged to the B-Learning model, taking into account the following factors: environment, teachers and students, establishing the possibility to implement both models and which factors should be strengthen for that.
