The economic, social, technological and innovation situation of El Salvador

Abstract

This research presents how the economic, social, technological and innovation are valued by the public and private institutions in the country, and also the prestigious international institutions. It was developed by gathering the ratings or positions of these indicators and the comments from experts in this topic. The social indicators present improvement but more investment is necessary for sustainability in the time. About the technology and innovation indicators, there is little stimuli and investment, the lack of commitment in these areas from the government, companies and education areas will influence in the low competitiveness that represent the company, as well as in all the areas that constitute the country.
