Application of leadership by managers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Western Zone of El Salvador

The success in businesses is closely bound up to the managerial work, as well as, to the adequate teamwork; because both factors must interact through: neat administrative and operational processes, with the manual application of functions, to the efficient ruling system; and especially to the attitude coming from the workers towards the institutional service. However, this managerial work must be according to the situation presented in each step in particular, in the environment that the manager must work on, knowing how to take advantage of the normative, being fair and equitable.
In this opportunity, this article presents a research referring to the application of the managerial style in our Head offices in the Western Area of El Salvador, but this time, in the collaborator’s spotlight. This is, how the employee labels his boss, giving and opinion on how his superior acts in determine circumstances in the administrative environment. Also, there was an inspection, procedure or observation of four managers who were evaluated upon their attitude, using a comparative rubric to evaluate
their tasks.
In this research, the element of going to four workplaces was introduced, they were chosen as the object of study and they were previously visited as another customer. This means, in an incognita way, asking for information about the offered services, asking for prices, buying small quantities to arrive in a frequent way in an indiscrete manner, verifying how the managers performed in front of their helpers with no pressure of being observed
