Evaluation of the management carried out by the microenterprise of the municipality of Santa Ana

Abstract

The economic units of the productive stratum of the micro companies in Santa Ana, El Salvador, in most of them, have an empty space in management, specifically related to the systematic application of the administrative process. This is intensified because of this productive subarea, until now, has not have access to the benefits that generate the public policies that are implemented, in order to promote the development of the business system of the country. That´s why to the impossibility they have to overcome the 
obstacles that represent the paper work they have to present to get that access.

To have access to the benefits that give the public policies they have to fulfill the following requirements: registration of the Enterprise to the Ministry of Finances, to get the tax identification number (NIT), to get the card and number of the taxpayer (IVA), registration of the enterprise in the Commerce Registrar office; registration of the General Balance, renewal of the commerce registration, labor duties (registration of the employees) and payment of the payrolls every month in the system of Fund Management of Pension and in the Salvadorian Social Security Institute, wages payment, bonuses and other benefits.  

It is important to say that more than the 60% of the micro companies owners interviewed showed total predisposition to receive institutional cooperation in the area of technical assistance counseling addressed to support their efforts for the development of their companies. In order to, the Universidad Católica de El Salvador could lead the execution of a program of institutional cooperation with the main objective to foster the sustainable development of the micro company in Santa Ana that may be used as a model to other companies that may help so they can use them in other places of the Republic.
