Coffee rust behavior in coffee plants in relation to climatic factors occurring in the last three years on coffee farms in Santa Ana, El Salvador

Rust in the coffee is considered as one of the most catastrophic illnesses of the plants in all history. It belongs to one of the sevenplagues and/or illnesses that the plants have left more losses in the last 100 years. It is the main pathological problem of high impact for the coffee growing.
In El Salvador, the rust and other illnesses are seriously affecting the plantations because the harvest risk has increased in some in departments during the 2012 2013 years. The change in the weather has increased the impact of the rust because the attack has been expanded in the higher areas.
El Salvador is situated in the north part of the tropical belt of the earth and in November and October, it is mainly influenced by the northeast winds. Also, by stiff winds from the north that bring cool air, originated in the polar regions of North America, but heating in a great manner when they go through the Gulf of Mexico on its way to Central America. This allows that the rust illness can be manifested easily having the adequate weather so this opportunist fungus can be reproduced.
