Abstract

The article describes in a specific way the types of grammatical errors that can be committed in writing from students who are not native speakers of the English language and how often these errors happen.

The one hundred samples from the written texts in English were taken by the Grammar English students from Bachelor in education specialization in English from Multidisciplinary Faculty of Ilobasco. The results showed that the errors committed can be associated with overgeneralization of rules in the verbal form, a sequence between subjects and predicates, articles, plurals, and auxiliaries. In conclusion, as the writing is one of the production skills in the English Language, the correction plays an important role to avoid those grammatical errors already mentioned.
