Labor violence in El Salvador is a fact that has a negative and serious impact in the personal, social, and economic conditions of the workers, especially when it is addressed to a female employee regardless of the social status, academic level, workplace or some others. Given the circumstances, it is essential that the governmental institutions of the labor rights increase and improve the regulatory role. So that, the existent legal mechanisms are viable and effective to prevent, protect, and eradicate any type of situation that damages the labor rights. Therefore, female employees seem to be affected in her dignity as people with rights.
In that way, the investigation was developed in Santa Ana based on free documental information, interviews, and surveys that were done to the involved actors, having as a main purpose to determine the existence and description of protection’s mechanisms against the labor violence in woman. This is an important point for the integral development of the Salvadoran’s woman and the society in general and in the search of equality and social justice. It was showed that a female worker either in public or private sector is a victim of labor violence; making it worse the lack of complaints in the presence of institutions in spite of knowing the legal mechanisms that can be taken into account at the moment of infringement the labor rights.
