The aim of this research was to identify educational actions within the context of the “Social Entrepreneurship and Solid Waste Eco-Management Project in the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador”. In this regard, a total of fifteen educational actions were developed and documented within the framework of its implementation. Although the methodological procedure followed the National Environmental Education Policy, these actions were not integrated into a unified pedagogical plan and lacked indicators or assessment tools that would allow continuous educational intervention and contribute significantly to fostering an environmental culture in the beneficiary municipalities.
Based on these findings, the educational actions were analyzed and organized into a structured Environmental Education Program proposal, which describes twelve context-appropriate actions, incorporating lessons learned to help identify necessary cultural changes in the population regarding solid waste management.
