In education, curricular changes are very common in the Salvadoran system. The objective of these changes is to improve the quality of education, a process that has been continuous over time. This leads to changes in teachers' paradigms and, consequently, requires them to acquire the knowledge necessary for the efficient implementation of integrated activities.
Accordingly, this descriptive research made it possible to identify the results obtained from the implementation of Integrated Activities at the basic education level, based on the opinions of teachers and principals from fifteen educational institutions in the municipality of Santa Ana.
The research addressed three main categories: teachers' knowledge, implementation of integrated activities, and assessment of the achievements attained from the teachers' perspective in their daily practice. The study compares the results obtained from both principals and teachers and finally provides, in percentage terms, the number of training sessions in which teachers have participated and the institutions that have provided them.
