Abstract

The research focused on encouraging nursing students to make systematic and rational use of new information and communication technologies in order to strengthen the theoretical knowledge that contributes to the development of well-rounded professionals. Therefore, it is necessary to view the use of mobile devices from a didactic strategy perspective that allows students to consolidate teaching-learning processes, while also providing teachers with an additional tool to facilitate learning, ultimately improving the educational process of nursing students.

The study examined the techniques used by teachers and how these supported the teaching-learning process. If technology were applied appropriately, it would create a different way of teaching and learning. The central purpose of the research was to analyze didactic strategies involving the use of new technologies in the classroom. Among the findings, the importance of training teachers in teaching methodologies and the design of didactic strategies in virtual environments was highlighted.
