Abstract

The study focused on the use of technology within the internal management of companies, examining which technologies are being used for the promotion and sale of products and/or services. The use of technology was identified, as well as the limitations experienced, the adoption plans, and the monitoring of their implementation.

The study describes the level of influence that information and communication technologies have on the internal management of companies advised by the Micro and Small Business Development Center at the Catholic University of El Salvador, Santa Ana campus. Based on the results, measures are proposed that entrepreneurs could adopt to optimize the use of technological resources.
