Abstract

This article reports on research conducted on trust between teachers and administrators at the San Francisco District Educational Institution (Bogotá, Colombia). Trust is considered a factor that impacts the consolidation of school culture and the achievement of institutional objectives, as it is a mediating element in human relations, forming the basis of social relationships.

The research involved an intervention exercise in which quantitative instruments were used to describe the levels of trust in the relationships between administrators and teachers. A qualitative analysis was then conducted to observe the relationship with the institution's academic and social processes. The results allow for the development of pedagogical and organizational strategies to increase levels of trust, improve educational quality, and consolidate a school culture.
