Effective use of information and communication technologies in the management and pedagogical area in public secondary education institutions in the Western Zone of El Salvador

Abstract

It is undeniable that every day education is in constant changes, coming by áreas, sciences studies, etc. that stren gthens it, with the intention to generate, in the person, the expected effect: shape and inform humanity. It is considered the importance of education and the tech nologies of information and communication (TIC2) as a relationship, which does not have any doubt nowadays that gives plenty to talk about, because of the interdependence between both concepts.

The National Education System is dominant to have for mation about TIC. However, these days, it is being worked with more emphasis in Middle Education levels, through the subject called “Informatics”. Because of this, the resear ched was oriented towards this level, combining this taking into account that some institutions have a “computer lab”. This allowed knowing in a deeper way the effectiveness of the use of TIC in the administrative and pedagogical areas. For this research, it was determined only as a study field the west area of El Salvador, taking into account the need that the Ministry of Education has, through the National Office of Continuant Training – ESMA to know the educational situation in this context.

The final goal of this study, based on the input gathe red through the collected information, it is to present a methodological proposal coming from the educational/te chnological feeling from the educational community; with the only purpose to improve the training, through an effi cient work from it; influencing in this way in the training in order to reach more updated education
