Comprehensive early childhood care: an analysis of the Early Childhood and Preschool Education curriculum in El Salvador

The research presents an analysis of comprehensive care in the early childhood in El Salvador.
To systematize documentary research, relevant and comprehensive reading of various documents
was taken to facilitate the study.
This article is intended to meet the relevance of the Salvadoran curriculum as well as to identify
aspects that make up the comprehensive education, and timely analyze those processes that the
state has reached to strengthen this, both vocational and personal training.
According to the study of early childhood, current status and prospects, published by UNICEF
in 2013, in the area of Education, only 54.7 % of children between 4 and 6 years were receiving
care, including public and private sector. With this data it was determined that there were 190 000
infants without education coverage at this level.
