Main Problems Faced by Tourism Students When Organizing a Cultural Event and Solution Strategies for the Training of Competent Professionals

Abstract

This article presents data and results regarding the analysis of the difficulties experienced by students enrolled in the Technical Degree in Tourism Management and Development at the Multidisciplinary Campus of Ilobasco, Cabañas, during their training process as professionals in the organization of cultural events. The results obtained through research instruments applied to a sample of one hundred students are presented.

The findings obtained from the research support the development of new strategies that help minimize the unforeseen difficulties that may arise at a specific moment when organizing a cultural event. Therefore, the study seeks to encourage the acquisition of these strategies in order to achieve the expected results.
