Abstract

Healthy eating is a fundamental pillar for preventing chronic non-communicable diseases and maintaining good health. However, the abundance of information and misinformation currently hinder its understanding and application in daily life. In this context, this article reflects on the true meaning of healthy eating, highlighting that it is not a complex or exclusive concept, but rather one accessible to everyone. To this end, two key elements are proposed: promoting scientific dissemination and developing both individual and collective food awareness. The importance of reconnecting with the body's physiological signals and having the support of nutrition professionals is also emphasized. In conclusion, truly healthy eating is achievable for everyone, provided that education and awareness about eating habits are strengthened.
